The U.S. Air Force's recently published guidance on the purchase of training aids for bomb-detection K-9s specifically authorizes the purchase of TrueScent products. The key entry in document AFI31-121 reads:

"5.3.2 Units are authorized to purchase and train on pseudo Home Made Explosive (HME) TrueScent explosive training aids by Signature Science."
